With new pointie toed ballerinas or pots of muguet or macarons or anything at all! Now if the rain would just go away and come back another day.

Why ever did I not get Cafe Pouchkine's fabulous pastries...
Is beyond me.
Not even one multi-colored macaron...
Passed my lips - quelle tragedie indeed...

Granted I was there for breakfast/petit dejeuner...

And I did wolf down a lovely orangie viennoisserie thing...

Mainly I'd come for a cup of lush, thick chocolat chaud served in a traditional chocolatier with traditional beater/le moulinet...

Nearby Parisians were having dessert for breakfast (what clever ducks) but insanely drinking Coca-Cola! Why ever do Parisians adore Coke? Karl Lagerfeld has been plastered on 3+ bottles. Some French trends/tendances are completement nuts non?

Cafe Pouchkine is located in a far corner of Printemps ground floor. Don't hesitate to go in for a delightful respite from shopping and browsing.

I'd advise you to leave your gun at home, even if Printemps saw fit to include it (on the chair) in their vitrine setup next to a Cafe Pouchkine table. Same goes for the RED lipstick on the rim of the cup...

Last night French Girl and I went out to shoot the windows/les vitrines... Au Printemps department store was celebrating La Fete du Printemps... With giant floral bunnies... Floral swans...

In lavender no less...

And flower-headed Rockette Chorus girls...

Lined up...

In sumptuous rows...

A flower power couple even...

This flower girl succumbed to Spring Fever and fainted...

In a swoon from rose perfumes...

Hidden in ribboned boxes...

Suddenly behind us on boulevard Haussmann we heard a great WOOSH!

Hundreds upon hundreds of Parisien skaters took over the street in a woosh of Spring Fever!

One was decked out in blue lights!!

Then they were gone...

Ah, the ever present French escargot in luscious pink roses...

Don't forget Paris is laid out like a snail with the 20 arrondissements curling around on themselves and #1 at the center...

Et voila!
